REGULATION
Choirs in the competition are required to sing 2-3 pieces up to a maximum performance time of 15 minutes.
Accompaniment
Choirs can sing a cappella, as well as with piano accompaniment. A small number of authentic instruments are also permitted.
The organizer will provide pianos; other instruments needed for accompaniment will not be provided. No CDs or electronic accompaniment is permitted.
Repertoire
The intended repertoire form must be submitted in soft copy to the organizers by June 15, 2019, to ensure that all requirements are met. There is to be no change in programme once it has been approved.
Please note that hard copies of all scores are required: five (5) sets should be sent to the organizers after registration has been completed. Further instructions will be forthcoming.
Original Scores
Choirs are individually responsible for honoring copyright and performance rights of their works. These scores should be labeled clearly with the choir's name.
Performance Time
Performance time limit is 10-15 minutes for each choir. This does not include logistics (on/off-stage, movement between pieces) or applause. In the event a choir exceeds the time limit, a penalty of 5% off the total mark will be deducted from the final score.
