The first Ottawa International Choral Festival (OICF) was launched on January 28, 2017. This new OICF festival showcased over fifteen choirs from Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, the United States and China.

The Second Festival was held successfully in the National Capital of Ottawa, Canada on September 21-23, 2018. Ten choir groups participated in this festival. The 2018 Grand Prix Winner of the festival was China Chengdu High Sing Chorus.
