Ottawa Breeze of Harmony Ensemble
The Ensemble
Breeze of Harmony Ensemble is a group of musical enthusiasts, who possess different levels of vocal training. There are scientists, engineers, teachers and other professionals amongst the members. Passionate about choral music, they devote their efforts toward a wide range of Chinese and Western repertoire. The Ensemble has sung at the first Ottawa International Choral Festival, the Music and Beyond and other community events.
Breeze of Harmony Ensemble won the second prize at the first Canada International Choral Festival in 2018.
The Conductor
Zhuomin Liu graduated from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in China, majoring in composition. As a composer, she worked on a variety of music, when she finds time outside her busy schedule teaching piano. She worked with Guan Yadong Studio and their original song “Grandma Hug Me” won the first prize at the Beautiful Heart children’s song contest in Beijing in 2017.
Zhuomin started conducting Breeze of Harmony Ensemble in 2016. The Ensemble performed at “Music and Beyond”, international choral festivals, and other community events under her leadership and received praises widely.
